Still February 2012... The waves washed away our Mayan Monument, but undeterred, I tackled, in sand, the other major component of the story that had seeped into my brain on the plane. Atlantis. A vision of it came along with the story.
Keep in mind, at this point I had read none of Plato and seen nothing of other renderings of Atlantis!
Under the watchful eyes of local fauna, I continued to sculpt a sand representation of the merging of these two lost cultures.
I wouldn't find out until researching much later that there is an actual real-life connection to these two cultures that were millennia apart!
